Technology provider Lavanda partners with UPP to offer summer short-stay solutions to universities across the UK.
Provider of student property management technology – Lavanda – has partners with UPP, an on-campus student accommodation and infrastructure provider working in partnership with 15 UK universities. The new partnership will see Lavanda offer summer short-stay solutions to universities across the UK.
The partnership offers UPP the opportunity to effortlessly run flexible rental and short-stay programmes during the summer months, complementing existing programmes such as summer schools, conferences and events.
By implementing Lavanda’s technology platform, UPP will be able to maximise the efficient use of its buildings – by providing short-stay offerings alongside a remarkable guest experience, with minimal disruption to the onsite and events teams. To deliver a seamless guest experience, the platform will allow UPP to manage reservations, automate check-ins and check-outs, and streamline operations.

The Lavanda partnership will initially operate in Nottingham and Swansea. It will allow UPP’s university partners to offer short stays across a portfolio of 816 units, maximising occupancy levels and ensuring guests enjoy the highest levels of service, with 24/7 support from a dedicated guest experience team.
