iQ Student Accommodation, one of the leading providers of private purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in the UK, and pioneering technology platform Lavanda, announce they are extending their partnership.
iQ is one of the leading providers of private PBSA in the UK, benefitting from a strategically located, wholly owned property portfolio of 79 properties, comprising over 32,000 beds across 29 university towns and cities throughout the UK.
The partnership with Lavanda will enable iQ to use Lavanda’s innovative technology platform to optimise occupancy, particularly in the summer months when there is strong demand for short term and flexible accommodation.
“We provide a wide range of high-quality accommodation to students throughout the UK and are pleased to be extending this offer to students and the public for short term stays over the summer months.”
Matt Merrick, CEO, iQ Student Accommodation
This comes as an extension to an existing partnership and will see iQ expand the use of this platform from six sites in six cities, to 30 sites in nine cities.
Lavanda is an award-winning flexible rental platform helping residential real estate businesses better connect with their customers and stay one step ahead.
“We are proud that our partnership with iQ will help create more flexible and affordable accommodation options over the summer months, using best-in-class technology. We are delighted to further solidify our leadership position in the UK PBSA market, and to continue Lavanda’s exciting growth trajectory.”
Fred Lerche-Lerchenborg, CEO, Lavanda
Through the partnership, iQ is providing students, as well as the public, access to well-located accommodation options in popular city destinations.
