Lavanda is a multi award-winning tech company with global headquarters in London, UK. Our team of digital entrepreneurs and real estate thought leaders have been driving innovation in “proptech” since 2015.
Building upon our own experience of managing short-term rental properties at scale, we designed and developed a best-in-class SaaS platform that allows institutional residential property owners and operators to access short-term rental demand, while delivering a scalable hospitality experience.
Fast forward to today and Lavanda powers Flexible Living solutions for a rapidly growing number of the world’s leading real estate companies, providing a first class Property Management Software suite to run the whole building as well as our unique Short Stay product solution.

Guy Westlake
Founder
Guy Westlake is founder & Chairman of Lavanda. Prior to Lavanda Guy was employee number one at Shutl, where he led Marketing through to the company’s acquisition by eBay in 2013. His career spans 20 years of building and investing in B2B software businesses of all sizes.
Fred Lerche-Lerchenborg
CEO
Fred was both COO and Head of Growth at Lavanda before becoming the company’s CEO. He previously worked in investment banking and fund management for 10 years, with his experience spanning Tech M&A roles at Credit Suisse and helping manage a £3bn+ fund at Artemis.
David Larpent
CPO
David leads our talented, multi-disciplinary Product, Design and Engineering teams. He previously co-founded and led Product at two high growth tech startups. He’s an experienced CPO and CTO with 10+ years experience hiring and developing high-performing Product and Engineering teams.
Laura Woollard
VP Marketing
Laura heads up Lavanda’s multi disciplinary marketing team. In her previous role Laura led the marketing effort for RealPage’s European and NYC operations. She has 20+ years experience in leading highly effective marketing teams and brings a wealth of proptech knowledge to the business.
Ben McGee
VP Sales
Ben leads Lavanda’s Sales and Business Development teams. Having previously led international sales efforts for RealPage and Kigo, Ben brings 10 years+ of passion and experience in property management in software solutions for residential real estate.
Scott Craig
VP Customer Success
Scott leads the customer success team at Lavanda. He has a wealth of experience having grown and led the international implementation and account management teams for VTS across multiple verticals of the proptech industry.
Dan Taylor
VP Operations
Dan is our VP of Operations, and has previously headed up our Guest Experience and Customer Service functions. Prior to Lavanda, Dan founded and led two startup businesses, held an executive position at an international charity, and led strategic operational projects at Centrica and Barclays.
Josh Thornton
Head of Engineering
Josh joined Lavanda in 2021 from GoDaddy, where he led the improvement of software development practices as Director of Engineering Rigour. He has a wealth of leadership experience as well as very strong technical skills as an engineer.
